Curator, Cinema Center
Locations: Cinema Center
Hours: 5 - 15 hrs a week
Starting Pay: $12.50/hr
Position Responsibilities
Operations & Events
Work the box office as needed Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings:
Opening & closing of facilities
Operate ticket counter
Operate concessions
Pop popcorn
Operate projector & playback systems
Address or direct any member issues & questions during events
Watch movies and engage with members
Ingest digital content into projector and create digital theatrical presentation playlists
Sanitation between customers, between screenings, and before & after events
Update marquee
Other responsibilities as assigned
Assist in planning, execution and break down of in-house and off-site events
Administrative
Answer phones and communicate with customers and members during shift
Help identify immediate facilities needs
Communicate with the General Manager and Executive team as needed
Online
Assist in updating homepage and trailers as needed
Provide feedback on social campaigns and posts

A love of film as an art form
Must be able and willing to work Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings.
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Ability to think creatively about in-person and online events & educational opportunities
